First of all... Hello!

Presumably you are here as a result of a small list of reasons:

1. You are currently applying to join the RFA.
2. You are considering applying to join the RFA.
3. You are generally curious about the RFA.

Regardless of your reasons you are more than welcome on this page and I hope it can provide you some insight into the RFA, and its often elusive application process. This blog will be primarily from the perspective of a potential officers' perspective, however in the future I would like to create posts that can highlights certain ratings role perspectives and advice..who knows!

Firstly a little about myself, I am Yorkshire2018 (three guesses where I am from), I use this name so that any points of reference aren't directly related to myself or those that have been with me at anytime, a fact I hope that you the reader will appreciate. During my RFA application process I worked in an established business providing business consultancy services, having already obtained a bachelors degree in the mid 2010s. During one tediously long train journey and with free WI-FI, I decided I wanted a new job, with a difference that would enable me to work with great people and be part of something bigger. After a short Google search on my laptop the RFA appeared, and so my curiosity got the better of me and here I sit today commencing my first ever blog.
