The Application Process

Bearing in mind I applied for an officer role, my application is/was as follows below. Many roles including rating positions follow a similar pathway, my goal is to create a blog post for each of the bullet points listed on my application journey. These will have some friendly hints and tips to help you on your way:

1. Apply online (Royal Navy Careers Portal)
2. Sit Recruit Test (Local AFCO)
3. Send off copies of all academic and vocational certificates
4. Await paper sift
5. Sift interview
6. Admiralty Interview Board
7. Conditional employment offer
8. Contract
